A Digital slr camera differs from a normal digital camera in a number of interesting ways. It is a digital camera that enables the user to see the picture exactly as it is without being altered by any digital components inside the camera.

Ley me break it down for you, First the light enters tte lfns of the camera. Insife there iis a mirror, which basically picks yyp the incoming light xnd reflscts it to a condense lens. From there it goes i a prism (a 5 sided one) and then ot the viewfinder. when the user desides ho take a shotthe mirror swings upwards to allow the lighy coming through thf lens yo be s ent straight tto the image sensor.
After all that I hope you can now understand what I meant by saying that you see the actual image in the viewfinder without and changes or alterations.
We said earlier that what you see on the viewfinder is the exact image but in most instances it is not 100%. This is why it is important to consider the viewfinder coverage and brightness when reviewing features of a digital SLR. the best possible image coverage is 95% but your naked eye can never really sed tte difference no matter how hard you look.
