Palm Coast, Florida (The Weekly Vice) — A Palm Coast, Florida couple was arrested on Tuesday after authorities obtained a CD which allegedly showed images of the arrested woman having sex with multiple dogs and a 15-year-old girl.
Carla Maldonado, 40 and David Maldonado, 42, were arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges of Lewd and Lascivious battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor for an alleged crime captured on compact disk that occurred four years ago.
The incidents were uncovered when the Flagler County Humane Society found a compact disk that allegedly showed Carla Maldonado engaged in sexual activity with several dogs she had adopted from the shelter where she was employed.
The disk also allegedly contained 16 images that showed Carla Maldonado engaged in sexual acts with a teenage girl who was 15-years-old at the time. Investigators say the teen was given alcohol and then encouraged to participate in the sex acts. The Humane Society terminated Maldonado’s employment and turned the disk over to Flagler County authorities in November.
David Maldonado allegedly photographed the sex acts according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s office.
“This case is still under investigation and additional charges may be filed,” said Flagler County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Maj. David O’Brien.
David and Carla Maldonado were booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility, where bond was set at $15,000 and $10,000 respectively.

We have some very sharp readers on on this blog, so I have no doubt some of you will be puzzled by the charges. The age of consent in Florida is 18 years old – so the filed charges really do not cover the bases here in accordance with the sheriff’s office narrative on the arrest affidavit.
We have THREE main issues here. Lewd acts with multiple animals – which should be charged as separate counts. Contributing to delinquency for giving the teen alcohol. So where is the charge for “unlawful sexual activity”? How about a charge of cruelty to animals? The images were photographed, so where is the child pornography/sexual performance of a child charges?
I certainly hope this is what the sheriff’s office means by “more charges may be filed.” Thus far, it looks to us like they haven’t hardly even gotten started. What if these images were transferred to the Internet. Distribution of pornography. Yes, I’d say the sheriff’s office has some work to do here – or else it will have to redact parts of it’s initial report.
If found guilty, these disgusting worms don’t deserve a shortcut in the law.
